Economic justice for people of African descent expert meeting

FRA presented findings from its ‘Being Black in the EU’ report at an expert discussion on ‘Economic justice for people of African descent: opportunities and challenges in the labour market’.

The German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth organised the event.

The event is part of the UN Decade for People of African Descent.

It aimed at discussing progress and challenges in the area of racism-critical employment and labour market policy. It also sought to highlight the specific needs and perspectives of Black communities.

The meeting took place on 12 April in Berlin.
