FRA’s Director Sirpa Rautio will be in Luxembourg, to participate in various sessions of the formal Justice and Home Affairs Council meeting.
She will take part in the Schengen Mixed Committee in the margins of the Home Affairs Meeting on 1 October. FRA Director will speak on the agenda point related to ‘Implementation of the Schengen Council cycle priority actions: increasing internal security through enhancing information exchange and leveraging technological developments’.
On 2 October, at the Justice Day Council Meeting, FRA Director will speak about the protection of civil society and journalists and exchange views related to the Council Conclusions on combating racism and racial discrimination in Europe.
The meeting takes place in Luxembourg.
