The leaflet offers guidance to authorities so they can comply with their obligation to clearly inform people about the purpose of storing digitalised pictures of their fingerprints and what happens to the data in Eurodac.
FRA developed and published the leaflet jointly with the Eurodac Supervision Coordination Group.
National data protection authorities translated the leaflet. It is now available in most EU languages, Icelandic and Norwegian.
