FRA joins Germany’s Antidiscrimination Days

At the German Antidiscrimination Days 2025 from 13 to 14 May, FRA contributed to a panel on anti-Muslim racism, addressing its manifestations in education, employment and housing, as well as the experiences of queer Muslims.

FRA presented key findings from the Being Muslim in the EU report, providing comparative data that highlighted the high levels of anti-Muslim racism experienced in Germany relative to the 13 EU countries surveyed, thus adding a European perspective to the discussion.

The German Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency invited FRA to the two-day event – the first of its kind, with over 1,600 participants from politics, media, culture, civil society and academia.

The event explored key socio-political issues through keynotes, panels and forums.
