On 7 March, FRA spoke at a national event on setting up the National Human Rights Institution in Italy. The discussion focused on challenges and perspectives of setting up NHRI in Italy.
FRA brought forward its expertise on Strong and effective NHRIs in the EU and experiences in supporting NHRIs in monitoring fundamental rights and the fundamental rights aspects of the rule of law.
