This European Commission network aims at better monitoring and anticipating migration movements. The aim of the meeting was to exchange information about current migration trends and expected migratory flows for this autumn and winter.
Members of the network are relevant EU institutions, Member States and Justice and Home Affairs agencies, including FRA. FRA presented key developments in terms of fundamental rights for asylum seekers and migrants.
The Commission re-iterated the importance of FRA providing a fundamental rights perspective to the network.
