The event was hosted by Adroit and RTR-GmbH, two certified out-of-court dispute settlement (ODS) bodies. The conference focused on the role of ODS bodies established under Article 21 of the Digital Services Act (DSA). The DSA also gives online users the right to turn to ODS bodies, for example if they believe that an online content moderation decision by an online platform was wrong. FRA presented material on the promotion of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the ongoing project on safeguarding children from illegal and other harmful content online.
