EU Innovation Hub for Internal Security’s AI Cluster meets

FRA took part in a workshop of the EU Innovation Hub for Internal Security’s AI Cluster. It took place from 25-26 September in Tallinn.

FRA presented the Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment framework under the AI Act. It also covered its work in the field, notably its ongoing project on Assessing high-risk AI

It provided a general update about FRA’s external and internal work on AI. 

Together with Europol, it presented and discussed the upcoming Europol-FRA panel on ‘The right to explanation of AI-driven individual decision-making’. This will take place in the framework of the Annual Event of the EU Innovation Hub for Internal Security on 19 November in Brussels.
