From the Brazil side the meeting was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Racial Equality, which presented a brief information about the Brazilian Roma policies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs framing the Human Rights Dialogue and the Brazilian Delegation in Brussels.
From the EU side the meeting was attended by the European External Action Service, the EU Delegation in Brazil and FRA. FRA introduced the key characteristics of the recent EU Roma Strategic Framework and the development of EU Roma inclusion policies.
The Brazilian representatives expressed interest in continuing in such technical exchanges and suggested the topic to be included for the next EU-Brazil Human Rights Dialogue meeting to take place in autumn 2026.
