FRA supports the screening of two films. The first, A new beginning, tells the story of challenges faced by a refugee trying to integrate in a new society after fleeing war in his home country. The second, Coded Bias, shows how algorithm-based technologies affect our everyday life and human rights.
Coded Bias fits well with FRA’s report, ‘Getting the Future right – Artificial Intelligence and Fundamental Rights in the EU’, due out on 14 December during a high-level conference with the German Presidency of the Council of the EU.
This year’s virtual festival starts on 3 December.
