The congress will address the most current issues related to children in contact and conflict with the law, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on judicial systems.
The meeting is developed through the Global Initiative on Justice with Children, which is a joint programme developed by a group of international organisations, composed by Terre des hommes, Penal Reform International and the International Association of Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates.
FRA will speak during the session on European ideas to prevent discrimination and ensure equal access to justice of children in Europe. It will present the main findings from its research on child-friendly justice and mapping minimum ages.
