The commitment took place at an IHRA’s Ministerial Conference in Brussels organised by the Luxembourg Government. Ministers of foreign affairs or their representatives attended the event.
The vice-chair of FRA’s Management Board, Filippo di Robilant, represented the Agency as Permanent International Partner to IHRA. Filippo di Robilant delivered a statement highlighting the worrying state of antisemitism today. He spoke of gaps in the recording of antisemitism by Member States.
He also underlined the importance of applying the IHRA working definition of antisemitism. He concluded by reiterating FRA’s commitment to assisting the EU, Members States, Intergovernmental Organisations, IHRA and Jewish communities in the fight against antisemitism.
