FRA will join an online seminar on 19 January organised by the Open Society Justice Initiative. During the webinar, researchers will present findings from a comparative evaluation of police reforms in the UK and US.

In 2019, with support from the Open Society Foundation (OSF), researchers from the Vera Institute of Justice and the University College London’s (UCL) Institute for Global City Policing compared organisational justice reforms implemented by the Arlington Police Department in Texas, USA and the West Midlands Police in the UK. The evaluation assessed implementation and whether employees of police organisations understood and accepted the reforms.
