New FRA Youth Advisory Panel: Young people voice their opinions on fundamental rights
The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) is piloting a Youth Advisory Panel to amplify young people's voices on fundamental rights issues in the EU. The panel consists of seven diverse young people aged 18-25 with experience in civil society work and youth advocacy.

On 3 April, FRA will speak during the mid-term review conference of the Council of Europe’s child rights strategy (2022-2027). The event in Strasbourg looks towards a child justice system which guarantees the respect and the effective implementation of children’s rights.

Foresight workshop on horizon scanning for fundamental rights
FRA will host a foresight workshop that will bring together selected experts from EU institutions, Member States, academia and think tanks. It is part of a FRA project that aims to integrate a fundamental rights perspective into strategic policy foresight by the EU and its Member States.

Combating racism and online hate
During a diplomatic dialogue for equality on 25 March, FRA Director, Sirpa Rautio, shares her views with the diplomatic community in Vienna on how to combat racism and online hate speech. The event was organised in cooperation with the Austrian civil society organization ZARA Civil Courage and Anti-Racism Work, the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA), and the Dutch, Swedish, and Canadian embassies in Austria.
