FRA joined the final drafting meeting of the Council of Europe's ADI-ROM (Committee of Experts on Roma and Traveller Issues) Working group on desegregation in education.
The meeting brought together ADI-ROM members from France, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia and Switzerland, and representatives of Roma and Traveller civil society organisations. They finalised the text of the Recommendation on desegregation and inclusion policies and practices in the education of Roma and Traveller children, together with its Explanatory Memorandum.
FRA contributed with technical expertise on equality data collection.
The meeting took place in Strasbourg from 8 to 9 September.
