FRA is one of the five permanent members of the Advisory Forum, alongside EHISA and the three standardisation bodies, CEN, CENELEC and ETSI. The 174 non-permanent members have been selected from more than 700 applications, across civil society, academia, and industry, including Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups to serve a term of two years. The members provide technical expertise and advice on a broad range of aspects of the AI Act, including on standardisation and implementation challenges. The first meeting will take place on 19 June online.
