FRA presented key trends and data about major challenges faced by LGBTIQ+ children in a polarised landscape during the annual conference of the European Network of Ombudspersons for Children on safeguarding and advancing the rights of LGBTQIA+ children and young people.
FRA contributed to debates about gaps and needs. It also spoke about ways forward, actions needed and interventions by Children Ombuds institutions, promoting a rights-based approach to policy in this area.
The conference ran from 30 September to 1 October in Barcelona.
