She will be there to mark the 80th Anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration and Extermination Camp.
She will also visit the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex), where she will meet its Director, Hans Leijtens, and its Fundamental Rights Monitors.
She will address the informal Justice and Home Affairs Council in Warsaw during a working session and working lunch on 31 January. It is being held under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Throughout the week, she will hold several bilateral meetings, including with European Commission Coordinator on Combating Antisemitism and Fostering Jewish Life, Katharina von Schnurbein, Polish Justice Minister, Adam Bodnar, the OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights’ Director, Maria Telalian, and the Office of the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights.
