FRA will join the European Platform for Roma Inclusion in Dublin on 5 November. Organised by the European Commission and the Irish Presidency its theme is ‘Breaking Barriers, Building Futures: Participation in Education and Employment’.
The Platform is the main European forum bringing together national authorities, EU institutions, Roma and pro-Roma civil society and other stakeholders to discuss progress and challenges in advancing Roma equality, inclusion and participation.
It will be held back-to-back with a meeting of National Roma Contact Points that will take place on 6 November. FRA's 2024 Roma survey data fed the conference’s Discussion paper and the 2026 Report on the progress made in the implementation of national Roma strategic frameworks will be presented during the Contact Points meeting.
