Special Envoys and Coordinators Combating Antisemitism will gather in Dublin from 12 to 14 October. The meeting is an Associated Presidency Event as part of Ireland’s EU Council Presidency. It will focus on how antisemitism threatens our fundamental values and democratic societies, including in the digital sphere.
The programme will bring together special envoys and coordinators, Jewish community representatives, technology companies, governments and civil society.
Alongside dedicated meetings and a roundtable with Jewish community representatives, participants will hold a high-level exchange with technology companies.
An interactive workshop on AI, emerging technologies and online antisemitism will explore how technological developments are shaping efforts to counter antisemitic hate and promote Jewish life.
FRA will contribute to discussions that will also consider how innovation can strengthen cooperation among Jewish communities, public authorities, civil society and the technology sector in responding to evolving online challenges.
