Public authorities information session on the rights of victims of crime

FRA held an online information session on 29 January for public authorities on the findings of its paper on ‘Stepping up the response to victims of crime: FRA’s findings on challenges and solutions’.

The paper gathers evidence on how victims of crime have accessed their rights in practice across the EU.

FRA presented key evidence from FRA’s research over the past decade in relation to crime reporting, victim support services and protection from secondary victimisation.

The presentation also focussed on solutions that have proven to be effective in responding to the practical needs of victims and to improving their ability to access their rights.
