Information and Communications Assistant

Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out tasks in one or more of the following areas:

• Preparing and distributing creative content for social media across all FRA’s social media accounts, including graphic design and audiovisual clips for social media;
• Researching, planning and scheduling social media posts to maximise outreach and impact in accordance with the Agency’s communications strategy and social media policy;
• Supporting the growth of FRA’s social media community, including outreach to influencers and specific target audiences such as young people;
• Developing and managing social media campaigns both organic and paid, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of such campaigns;
• Monitoring and supporting FRA’s social media performance by tracking, recording and analysing a range of social media audience growth and engagement metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement to management;
• Organising the clearance, production and distribution of information material, including conducting photo and graphic research for the production of this material;
• Identifying and proposing information opportunities, activities and approaches on fundamental rights issues, considering the topic and target audience;
• Assisting with the preparation of press and media materials;
• Assisting in the organisation of conferences, seminars and other events, including the associated communication materials, and financial and contract-related aspects.
