On 6 December 2017 the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) will host the conference 'Reality bites: Experiences of immigrants and minorities in the EU'. During the event, new findings from FRA’s second European Union Minorities and Discrimination Survey will be revealed.
Diskriminierung, Intoleranz und Hass sind in der gesamten EU nach wie vor weit verbreitet. Dies droht viele Angehörige von Minderheiten an den Rand zu drängen und zu entfremden, obwohl sie sich dem Land, in dem sie leben, ansonsten weitgehend verbunden fühlen und seinen Institutionen vertrauen. Diese Erkenntnisse resultieren aus einer wiederholten Erhebung der Agentur der Europäischen Union für Grundrechte (FRA).
