The Blueprint network is a mechanism established by the European Commission for better monitoring and anticipating migration movements.
The aim of the meeting was to take stock of the work of the network over the past two years.
The network has produced 165 reports in relation to Ukraine, to most of which FRA has contributed. The network contributed to the decision making of the activation and prolongation of temporary protection and contingency planning of displaced people from Ukraine. Members of the network are relevant EU institutions, Member States, and EU Justice and Home Affairs agencies, including FRA.
FRA presented key findings of the report: Fleeing Ukraine: Implementing temporary protection at local levels and gave an update of the current fundamental rights situation of displaced people from Ukraine in the EU.
The Commission re-iterated the importance of FRA providing a fundamental rights perspective to the network.
