The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) is an EU Agency based in Vienna. The objective of the Agency is to provide the relevant institutions and authorities of the Union and its Member States when implementing Union law with assistance and expertise relating to fundamental rights, in order to support them when they take measures or formulate courses of action within their respective spheres of competence to fully respect fundamental rights. (Article 2 of the Council Regulation (EC) No 168/2007).

The FRA is issuing a call for expression of interest in order to recruit a Seconded National Expert for the following position:

Seconded National Expert in Institutional Cooperation & Networks Unit

Seconded National Experts are staff employed by a national, regional or public administration or IGO, who are seconded to FRA so that it can use their expertise in a particular field. The initial period of secondment will be for one year, renewable up to a maximum of four years in total.

The SNEs shall be entitled, throughout the period of secondment, to a daily and monthly subsistence allowance, in line with Article 16 of the MB Decision 2017/01.
