InterPride, the European Pride Organisers Association (EPOA) and several national Pride networks therefore will hold a 24-hour online Global Pride event on 27 June for the LGBTI+ community around the world to come together, and celebrate diversity and equality.

There will musical and artistic performances, speeches from activists and campaigners and addresses by public figures. FRA Director Michael O’Flaherty will address participants via a video message, mentioning the EU LGBTI Survey results.

Other contributors include former US Vice President Joe Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Icelandic President Guðni Jóhannesson, Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, Joanna Lumley and Stephen Fry. Performing artists include Adam Lambert, Kesha, The Village People, Mel C, Leann Rimes and Pussy Riot. Global Pride will be live-streamed. Speeches and performances will be available on the website after the event.
