The European Jewish Association (EJA) organised an event on 20 January 2020 in Krakow to commemorate 75 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz extermination camp. The Director spoke during a panel on antisemitism today. FRA’s participation to this event is of symbolic value, and a means to reaffirm its commitment to combating antisemitism.CHECK AGAINST DELIVERY

The FRA Director will take part in a two-day event from 20 to 21 January to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz where he will speak about antisemitism today drawing on FRA’s survey work.
On 19 January, Filippo de Robilant, vice-chair of FRA’s Management Board will represent the agency at the Ministerial Conference of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA).
On 14 and 15 January, FRA, together with the OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), facilitated a workshop for law enforcement officers and officials responsible for (hate) crime registration in Belgium.
