Interested law graduates and students among ELSA’s 60,000 members took part.
The aim of the training was to increase awareness and use of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights by future legal practitioners across the EU.
FRA experts also presented the Agency’s capacity-building resources including FRA Charter materials and tools, such as the Charter Handbook available in all official EU languages and the Charter e-learning courses for legal professionals.
The new Charter Case Studies e-course may be of particular interest to law students. It takes them through eight concrete case studies regarding the applicability of the Charter (all FRA Charter material is based on cases decided by the Court of Justice of the European Union).
