FRA will cover discussions on strengthening NHRIs, drawing on key findings, Opinions and practical application from its report ‘Strong and effective national human rights institutions – challenges, promising practices and opportunities’ report.
It will also feature in sessions on the EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights and its relevance in the field of migration and asylum law. Here it will present its EU Charter tools.
In addition, it will feed in the module on strategic communications for narrative change, drawing from its e-media toolkit and 10 keys for communicating human rights.
The academy runs from 29 September to 26 October. It is an annual flagship event of European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).
