The 2018 edition of the handbook on European data protection law is now also available online in Dutch and Slovakian.
On 25 May, FRA took part in the Sub-Committee on Migrant Smuggling and Trafficking in Human Beings of the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly. The online hearing aimed to inform the Sub-Committee about relevant findings to enable them to define adequate future action.

In ihrem Grundrechte-Bericht 2021 [Fundamental Rights Report 2021] zeigt die FRA, wie weitreichend sich die Pandemie auf die Rechte auswirkt. Zudem schlägt die FRA Maßnahmen vor, wie am besten mit der zunehmenden Ungleichheit und den zunehmenden Gefahren für den gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt umzugehen ist.

On 31 May, the FRA Director will meet the heads of the European Network of Equality Bodies (Equinet) and of the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) to discuss strategic issues of joint interest.

Ein neues Papier der Agentur der Europäischen Union für Grundrechte (FRA) zeigt die unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen mit Polizeikontrollen auf. Aus dem Papier geht hervor, dass Schwarze, Asiaten und Roma nach wie vor eher von der Polizei angehalten und durchsucht werden, was ihr Vertrauen in die Polizeiarbeit beeinträchtigt. Mit Daten und Leitlinien wird die FRA die EU-Staaten weiterhin dabei unterstützen, die Grundrechte der Menschen bei der Polizeiarbeit zu achten.
