The EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL), in cooperation with the Escola da Policia, is conducting training in Loures, Portugal, against child trafficking.

It aims to enhance the capacity of law enforcement officers in identifying child victims, tackling child trafficking and applying child-specific interviewing techniques.

On May 22, FRA will give a presentation on interviewing children who have become victims or witnesses of crime based on its work on child-friendly justice.

The goal is to provide participants, investigators and prosecutors, with key questions they would need to check to ensure that that children can feel safe and comfortable when they are involved in judicial proceedings.
