FRA will chair a panel discussion on access to remedies in practice that will look at what are the critical barriers and next steps to protecting migrants workers.
It will include some reflections in relation to the findings of FRA’s severe labour exploitation project.
The aim of the event is to engage with returning and newly elected MEPs and other key institutional stakeholders on measures that the new European Parliament and European Commission can take for victims of exploitation to access an effective remedy.
This includes the specific recommendations of the Special Adviser on compensation for victims of crime who will speak at the event. The event takes place on 2 December in Brussels.
