From 22 to 24 January, the annual Computers, Privacy and Data Protection conference takes place in Brussels.
This year the main topic will be data protection and Artificial Intelligence.
As in past years, FRA is sponsoring the conference, which brings together many important stakeholders from policy, business, civil society and academia. FRA will speak at two sessions about facial recognition technology.
The discussions at the conference will push forward the state of discussions around data protection and artificial intelligence, which are also relevant for FRA’s ongoing research on artificial intelligence and fundamental rights.
