He will be joined by the Minister for Family and Integration, the chair of the Council of Europe Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) and representatives of the African community in Luxembourg.
The presidents of Luxembourg’s national equality body (Centre pour l’égalité de traitement – CET) and its national human rights institution (Commission consultative des Droits de l’Homme – CCDH) will also participate in the conference, as well as the president of the Association de soutien aux travailleurs immigrés (ASTI), one of the main civil society organisations dealing with the rights of migrants in the country.
The ASTI, CCDH and the CET jointly organised the conference, together with the Comité de liaison des associations d’étrangers (CLAE), a platform of foreigners’ civil society organisations. The conference-debate was organised as a direct follow-up to the Director’s visit to Luxembourg in March 2019.
