FRA presents Charter tools at Council Working Party meeting

The Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU invited FRA to present its tools on the promotion of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights to the Council’s Working Party on Fundamental Rights, Citizens Rights and Free Movement of Persons (FREMP) in Brussels on 10 July 2019.

FRA presented its online information tool Charterpedia, its Handbook for law-and policymakers on applying the Charter, its Handbooks in specific issue-areas, its recent Charter training events conducted together with National Human Rights Institutions in Poland, Finland, and Croatia, as well as its Charter information sheets, to members of the Working Party.

The future of the Charter will be the focus of a Conference on the 20th anniversary of the Charter co-organised by the Finnish EU Presidency, the European Commission and the Agency set to take place on 12 November 2019.
