The contractor will be required to carry out all removal services in line with FRA’s relocation plan, including handling, packing, transport and delivery of furniture, IT equipment, staff items, archives and other office goods. The services also cover provision of packing materials, colour-coded labelling, tracking of moved goods and full-replacement value insurance.
To ensure smooth planning and execution, the contractor will be expected to participate in planning meetings, prepare a detailed phasing plan, assess building access routes and comply with relevant safety, security and labour regulations.
Technical and professional capacity
The contractor must demonstrate the capacity to coordinate, manage and carry out all removal services. This includes the ability to handle office furniture and IT equipment, unplugging, labelling and placing desktop IT equipment, task chairs, tables, pedestals and cupboards. Compliance with all applicable environmental, social and labour law obligations, including those laid down in Annex X to Directive 2014/24/EU and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, is mandatory.
