FRA’s Director will be a keynote speaker at the OSCE Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting in Vienna on 24 June that will focus on tolerance, non-discrimination, and gender equality. The Maltese OSCE Chairpersonship and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) will organise the meeting.

The FRA Director will draw on findings from the Agency’s LGBTIQ survey, its report on Being Black in the EU, its minority and discrimination survey findings underscoring the intersectional dimension of racism and discrimination spanning religion, racial or ethnic origin, and gender.

She will draw attention to upcoming results of FRA’s follow-up violence against women survey that is being run jointly with the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE).

At the meeting, FRA’s Director will also have a bilateral meeting with Ambassador Evren Dağdelen Akgün, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chair on Combating Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims.
