Fundamental Rights Charter training for Slovenia

FRA will host a virtual seminar for legal staff of several ministries of the Slovenian government in the run-up to Slovenia’s Presidency of the Council of the EU. It aims at setting out the relevance and role of the EU’s Fundamental Rights Charter at the EU and national level.

It will also outline the added value compared to other human rights instruments as well as the implications for national and EU legislators. Slovenian Management Board Member Professor Verica Trstenjak will speak about cases of special relevance to Slovenia. FRA experts will discuss concrete issues arising in the field of data protection and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, FRA will present its Charter resources including the Charter handbook and e-guidance. The webinar takes place on 14 June.
