University students to learn about FRA’s work on child rights

External event
On 27 April, FRA will give an online lecture on the Agency’s work on child rights within the EU context.

The lecture is part of a university course on child rights organised by Save the Children and the Human Rights Centre at the University of Padua in Italy.

Lecturers also come from the Council of Europe, European Commission and international NGOs.

FRA will provide an overview of key child rights policy and legal files in the EU and the European Commission’s efforts to mainstream child rights across EU institutions. When presenting its work FRA will have a specific focus on tackling child poverty as an issue of fundamental rights.
