Launching the Italian asylum and migration handbook

The Italian Academy of Law and Migration held a launch event for the Italian version of the handbook on European law relating to asylum, borders and immigration.

Marco Borraccetti from the University of Bologna and opened by Oreste Polliccino from FRA’s Executive Board introduced and coordinated the event.

FRA presented the handbook, focusing on its structure and on the novelties of the updated version. FRA especially touched upon the visibility given to people with specific needs.

Other speakers addressed three main topics covered in the handbook: access to the territory, forced returns, and EU IT systems.

Some 60 Italian professionals as academics, lawyers, judges and prosecutors attended the event on 3 March.
