FRA’s Director delivers a keynote speech during the OSCE Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting in Vienna on 24 June that focused on tolerance, non-discrimination and gender equality. The Maltese OSCE Chairpersonship and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) organised the meeting.
FRA’s Director will be a keynote speaker at the OSCE Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting in Vienna on 24 June that will focus on tolerance, non-discrimination, and gender equality. The Maltese OSCE Chairpersonship and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) will organise the meeting.
FRA will speak at the OECD’s new Civic Space Protection Network which first meets online on 27 June. This new initiative aims to bring together public officials, to serve as a platform to share experiences, learnings, and good practices.
FRA will speak at a conference of the Council of Europe’s Steering Committee for Human Rights (CDDH) on 25 June in Helsinki. The conference will be streamed live.
FRA will present its work on the fundamental rights impact of the cost of living crisis in the EU during a meeting of the Social rights platform. The focus will be on the social rights of young people.
A factsheet on the European Arrest Warrant and fundamental rights is now available. The Registry of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and FRA prepared and published the factsheet.
FRA took part in a workshop in Vilnius 18 and 19 June on enhancing Lithuania’s guardianship model. The European Asylum Agency organised the event.

On 18 June, FRA presented the key findings of the Fundamental Rights Report 2024 to the Working Party on fundamental rights, citizens’ rights and free movement of persons (FREMP) of the Council of the EU.
FRA joined online a Working Group meeting on Confronting Hate speech. The European Commission’s Working Group on Equality and Values organised the meeting on 20 and 21 June.
