This summary report highlights some of the issues raised in the report 'The situation of Roma EU citizens moving to and settling in other EU Member States'.
Drawing mainly on primary qualitative research conducted in Finland, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom, this report provides a synthesis of information on positive initiatives with regard to the social inclusion of Roma EU citizens living in other EU Member States.
The research examined experience of Roma EU citizens exercising their right to freedom of movement and residence identifying positive initiatives for social inclusion affecting Roma EU citizens living in Member States other than their own; such initiatives are often framed by a broader policy on Roma social inclusion.
