On-going studies on the European search portal, the biometric matching service and a common identity repository were presented. FRA reminded participants of existing rules on purpose limitation that define access rules as laid down in the existing and proposed legal instruments for Eurodac, Schengen Information System, Visa Information System and the Entry-Exist System.
