FRA took part in a meeting of the European Trade Union Confederation’s Migration and Inclusion Committee in Brussels on 16 May.

FRA presented its work on tackling anti-Muslim hatred during a joint Equinet – European Commission meeting in Brussels from 22 to 23 May in Brussels.

On 15 May, FRA presented its research on the challenges faced by Data Protection Authorities in implementing the EU General Data Protection Regulation, six years after its entry into force, at the Spring conference of European Data Protection Authorities in Riga.

On 16 May, FRA Director Sirpa Rautio held a roundtable discussion with 36 civil society organisations in Brussels.

FRA took part in the annual spring expert meeting of the European Network on Victims’ Rights. It presented its project on protecting the fundamental rights of people with disabilities living in institutions.

Members of the Frontex Consultative Forum on Fundamental Rights met with the Frontex Management Board chairperson and the Frontex senior management.

FRA delivered a lecture on 23 April in The Hague on AI and fundamental rights as part of the 2024 Spring Academy on AI and International Law, convened by the TMC Asser Institute.

FRA trained staff of the Hungarian National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing and representatives of the National Police Headquarters dealing with return/readmission in Budapest on 15 April.

FRA contributed to the training of Schengen evaluators on 22-26 April in Budapest on returns and the management of external borders
