On 14 July, FRA will take part in a public hearing with the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) on closing implementation gaps in EU Equality Directives and reviving the Horizontal Equal Treatment Directive Proposal.

FRA will exchange views with the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) on the state of LGBTIQ+ rights in Europe.

The FRA Director will contribute to the informal Justice and Home Affairs Council meeting in Dublin from 16 to 17 July. The Director was invited to speak on the working session dedicated to the voice of the child in family law.
