The European Forum for Urban Security (EFUS) is a network of some 250 local and regional authorities dedicated to urban security from 16 European countries.
The webinar, where FRA presented its paper ‘Facial recognition technology: Fundamental rights considerations in the context of law enforcement’ on 18 September was part of a series of online events relating to technology and urban security aiming to promote the exchange of experiences among peers.
It covered the fundamental rights implications and people’s perception about the use of such technology.
