The Agency will present FRAbot during the GAME CHANGER conference in Leipzig that takes place from 28 to 29 May.
The FRA Director spoke of the need to rebuild a Europe rooted in the universal values of human rights during his keynote address at the FIDE 2018 Congress on 24 May in Estoril.

Building on the popular practical handbook on European data protection law, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), the Council of Europe and the European Data Protection Supervisor have just published an update as the EU’s new data protection rules take effect and the modernised text of the Council of Europe’s Convention 108 has just been adopted.

From 17 to 18 April, the Agency took part in the first expert meeting on Responses to Violence against Children established by the Ad hoc Committee for the Rights of the Child (CAHENF) in Strasbourg.
From 15 to 16 May, the Agency took part in the meeting of the Eurostat task force charged with developing a survey on gender-based violence.
