La violence à l’égard des femmes est une violation des droits fondamentaux en matière de dignité, d’égalité et d’accès à la justice. Les résultats de l’enquête indiquent qu’une femme sur trois a subi au moins une forme de violence physique et/ou sexuelle depuis l’âge de 15 ans, une femme sur cinq a fait l’objet d’une traque furtive (« stalking »), et une femme sur deux a déjà été victime d’une ou de plusieurs formes de harcèlement sexuel.

Violence against women: an EU-wide survey. Main results report
This FRA survey is the first of its kind on violence against women across the 28 Member States of the European Union (EU). It is based on interviews with 42,000 women across the EU, who were asked about their experiences of physical, sexual and psychological violence, including incidents of intimate partner violence (‘domestic violence’).

Násilí na ženách představuje porušení nejdůležitějších základních práv žen, jako je právo na důstojnost, přístup ke spravedlnosti a rovnost žen a mužů. Například fyzickému a/nebo sexuálnímu násilí byla po dosažení 15 let věku vystavena každá třetí žena, každá pátá žena byla vystavena nebezpečnému pronásledování a každá druhá se setkala s jednou nebo více formami sexuálního obtěžování.

Vold mod kvinder underminerer kvinders grundlæggende kernerettigheder, såsom værdighed, adgang til domstolsprøvelse og ligestilling mellem kønnene. Violence against women undermines women’s core fundamental rights such as dignity, access to justice and gender equality. For example, one in three women has experienced physical and/or sexual violence since the age of 15; one in five women has experienced stalking; every second woman has been confronted with one or more forms of sexual harassment.

Survey on discrimination and social exclusion of Roma in EU (2011)
This 2011 study provides data on the socio-economic condition, experiences of discrimination and rights awareness of Roma in 11 EU Member States: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Spain. The survey focused on respondents’ situation with respect to employment, education, housing and health.
