The French Ministry of Interior hosted the Paris meeting from 22 to 24 March.
There was a visit to an organisation providing accommodation to applicants in vulnerable situations in Paris before the meeting.
The drafting groups are made up of representatives from the European Commission, Member States, civil society, the UN Refugee Agency and FRA.
They aim to develop standards and indicators to support Member States in assessing and improving the reception conditions of asylum seekers. They also take into consideration vulnerabilities in the context of asylum procedures and in reception facilities.
