FRA country visit to the Netherlands

FRA’s Director Sirpa Rautio carried out a country visit to the Netherlands between 16 and 18 June. She had bilateral meetings with Pieter Heerma, Minister for the Interior and Claudia van Bruggen, State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice.

L’Agence de l’Union européenne pour l’asile (EUAA) et l’Agence des droits fondamentaux de l’Union européenne (FRA) ont publié conjointement des outils pratiques actualisés à l’intention des tuteurs d’enfants non accompagnés ayant des besoins en matière de protection internationale. Ces outils font partie d’une série de documents communs conçus pour aider les tuteurs à assumer leurs responsabilités quotidiennes tout au long des procédures d’asile et connexes.

Roma study visit to Ostrava

FRA joined the EURoma Network study visit to Ostrava that focused on housing and residential desegregation. The study visit focused on the Social Rental Agency (SRA) model as implemented in Ostrava and the surrounding region with its two key elements. These were housing mediation on the private market and social support for tenants.

FRA presented new handbook at the Frontex Management Board

On 18 June, FRA presented the updated FRA-ECtHR handbook on European law relating to asylum, borders and immigration published in June 2026 at a meeting of the Frontex Management Board, informing delegations that in the coming weeks printed version in five language versions, namely English, French, German, Greek and Italian will be available.
